I’m going on a trip at the end of next week and don’t want to bring all of my pens. So, I used that as an excuse to buy a little 12-color Koi watercolor set. My first attempt turned out not to shabby really–a bit muddy in the shirt but I like how the hair and skin tones came out.
Practicing drawing expressions. It’s a great exercise for figuring out which details make the characters recognizable and which are superfluous.
Practice sketches to decide on Megumi/Hatsumi’s hair.
Bought a copy of Manga Studio 5 on sale this weekend, and just wanted to try it out in a quick sketch.
